GSP
November 20, 2006For those of you who care, who know who we are talking about. Just watched the fight on youtube here. It won’t be there for long, so if you haven’t seen it go watch it now. There is no volume sadly, but you take what you can get. Hughes looked outmatched in this one. Yeah, there was 2 “groin” shots… although watching that second one I don’t know… but it wasn’t my nads being rung so… who knows. Regardless… George was the teacher. It Chuck Liddel fashion, threw so many legs kicks and then popped one up high and caught him. We have a Canadian with a belt in the UFC! Nice work GSP.

It’s Been Quiet
November 7, 2006Things have been really flying by around here, and to be honest, I needed a bit of a break from a few things. Posting was the first to go, but hockey has been the second. I haven’t played in a month or so, and I don’t plan on playing until I get back from our trip to Canada (that is unless I play some when I am home, WHICH we should totally do!)
So here are the point forms:
- Finally landed a house. We move in on Thursday. Our stuff is in boxes, and it will be nice to get settled. Hopefully all in Thursday night.
- Just got over a nice bit of food poisoning. It has happened to me 3 times now. Eggs Benedict. Jambalaya Penne. Chicken Panang. But I am back in the saddle again, and we are good to go. Took me 4 days to recover, so didn’t do much last week after that.
- Have met some new friends in the area that we will be spending some time with. People we can learn from, and people who are thinking about life and God like we are. It has been cool to hang out with them for the last couple of weeks. Really looking forward to the new year and what it holds.
- Went and hung out at a African Getaway camp that was put on by some refugee ministries that we know of. It was a lot of fun despite it being raining. We found about it a little late, so we only stayed for the afternoon, but it was a good time. The guys/girls that were there love their soccer. Just so you know, I represented Canada very well.
- We come home in 4 weeks! How crazy is that!
So yeah. It’s been crazy busy, but its been good. Hopefully I feel like posting a bit more these days, but no promises.
Still not sure what the problem is with my url. Hopefully I can get that sorted as well. Out.
